[FAQ] Why is the memory usage high? How to release memory?
Reasily uses WebView(Google Chrome) to render EPUB content. Like a web browser, the more books you opened, the more memory it used. However, the memory will be released after books are closed. There are several ways to close opened books and release memory: Remove opened books in the recent apps list of Android system. This is an unique feature of Reasily, each opened book acts like an app. Just remove a book from the recent apps list to close it. Long-press the back button to close the book you are reading. Use Close in the menu of book , which is the last item in the menu.
