[FAQ] Can Reasily show page numbers and total pages of epub?

Technically it can't. Because usually there is no page number information in an EPUB file. Therefore, EPUB readers can only generate dummy page numbers. You can confirm this when you flipping pages in the Google Play Books app, you can see that the page number is sometimes not changed when flipping, because these page numbers are not real. I think it is meaningless to show such page numbers, so Reasily shows reading progress of whole book in percentage instead. You can think that each books have 10000 pages and 12.34% is the 1234th page. Some books have page numbers defined, e.g., publications downloaded from jw.org. For these publications, Reasily shows that page numbers at the left or right side. It is mainly caused by an old version of "Android System WebView" if your device is Android 5, 6 or 10. Reasily uses it to display epub content. So you have to keep it updated in Google Play Store. If your device is Android 7, 8 or 9, please update the Google Chrome app. If the night mode still not works, please mail me the epub file with a screenshot, so I can find out the cause of the problem.

Please check if the same account is logged in when enabling "Auto-sync data" or clicking "Sync now" on all your devices. You can "Log out" to change the account. Make sure the internet connection is stable, then click "Sync now" to make it sync again. If the syncing message disappeared automatically, the data is synced successfully. Please also check if the epub files are not different versions of a book on your devices. Data will not be synced between different versions of a book. You can enable the "debug log" and "mail me" it so that I can check if there are some failures during synchronization.

[FAQ] Why does Reasily ask me to upgrade again?

Some Reasily Pro users have reported that Reasily asks them to upgrade again. This usually happens on your second device. If you have multiple Google account, the app should be installed with the account that paid for pro before. That is, the account should be selected in drawer menu of Google Play when installing Reasily. Otherwise, Google Play thinks Reasily is owned by another account which did not pay. You might have to uninstall and install Reasily again with the correct account. Please check if the account shown in purchase dialog is correct. It is also possible that the Google Play hasn't updated the purchase state yet or lost it. Try rebooting the device. You can also help me fixing the problem by enabling the "Debug log" option in the menu of Reasily. Then restart Reasily and "Email me" the debug log file. Thank you for your help!
